Arabica coffee, is a species of flowering plant. Wild plants grow between 9 and 12 m tall, the flowers are white and the seeds are contained in a drupe, often called coffee beans.
Medicinal properties
The leaf sap of Arabic coffee was consumed to treat diarrhea and intestinal pain. The root sap was consumed for scorpion bites in West India. coffee seeds are used against asthma attacks. The infusion of the leaves and the roasted seeds were used for anemia, edema, and asthenia.
